Mackerel Teriyaki Rice Bowls
Teriyaki is the one sauce to rule them all. Transform an otherwise mundane piece of fish into a sweet and sticky sensation to go with rice.

- 6 Mackerel fillets
- Sesame sauce and spring onion greens for garnish
- 1000 g vegetables of choice
Teriyaki sauce
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp sugar
Start rice in a rice cooker.
Wash, cut and cook the vegetables.
After the vegetables are done, fry fish on both sides and reserve.
Reduce teriyaki sauce in pan. Return fish to pan and toss to coat.
Blast fish with blowtorch until slightly charred.
Garnish and serve hot.
